New Queensland VET Strategy
The Queensland Government is committed to creating more opportunities for Queenslanders to access good jobs now and into the future.
As part of our Good people. Good jobs: Queensland Workforce Strategy 2022–2032, the state government is developing a new Queensland Vocational Education and Training (VET) Strategy to maximise outcomes from government investment in training and skills.
Consultation is now open, with a discussion paper and survey available online, and forums to be held online and across the state.

The Queensland Government wants all Queenslanders – including employers, industry groups, training providers, schools, job seekers, students, apprentices and trainees - to have their say to inform the state's new vocational education and training (VET) strategy.
The new strategy will guide government’s investment in training and skills to ensure it delivers the best outcomes for Queensland.
